How Do the Searches Break Down for 2007?

We have all seen last years information on percent of searches per engine, but where is the information for this year? After about 2 hours of searching I found some recent results, from Nielsen Netratings. I think you will be surprised about a couple of things. Ask.com showing loss of growth of 2.3% in Year over Year, we cannot blame this on lack of effort. The second thing I was supirsed to see is Google is a little over 55% of the searches, I have seen numbers over 80%. Aparently there is some mixed information out there.

I think next time these stats are released Google will have fallen a bit to Yahoo, and Ask will begin to conquer the lower tier of the market share.....but watch out for Dogpile!

Peace and SEO
